Why seek an Independent Evaluation?

Every child learns differently — and sometimes the standard path doesn't reveal the full story. An independent evaluation takes the time to look closely at how your child thinks, learns, and experiences the world, surfacing insights that often go unnoticed in busier settings.

Whether you're seeking a thoughtful diagnosis, a trusted second opinion, or actionable recommendations your child's school can put into practice, an independent perspective ensures decisions are guided by the full picture.

About

Hi, I'm Amanda Bradshaw.

Amanda Bradshaw, licensed Educational Psychologist

I'm a licensed Educational Psychologist and Nationally Certified School Psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting students in school settings. My work has spanned comprehensive psychological assessment, collaborating with educators and families on tailored interventions, counseling for social-emotional growth, and advocating for inclusive learning environments.

My approach is child-centered and strengths-based. Every evaluation is a team effort — families, teachers, and other supports all bring meaningful insight, and the child is an active participant in the process, not a subject of it.

After testing, I debrief directly with each student in a developmentally appropriate, strengths-first way. The goal is for them to walk away with a real understanding of their own learning profile — so they can self-advocate, shape their learning environment, and build practical strategies for the areas that feel harder.

Whether you're a parent looking for clarity or an educator looking for classroom strategies that fit a specific learner, I'd love to help.
